Business Relationship Manager

Main Objectives
The BRM is the primary liaison between the Customer Service Centre and the businesses. They are responsible for providing assurance and confidence about the Customer Service Centre’s capability to deliver an improved customer experience. They are the central point for understanding business strategy, gathering requirements, collecting historic data and delivering the service plans back to the business.
Key Accountabilities
Developing and maintaining a clear understanding of the CSC strategy, process and organisation
Developing and maintaining a clear awareness and understand of strategies, challenges, issues and opportunities faced by the businesses they support
Facilitating and ensuring the ongoing exchange of information and communication between the CSC and the business
Reviewing CSC performance against targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and take action as required
Conducting regular service review meetings with the Businesses and the Service Centre and update the businesses on CSC performance at regular agreed intervals
Owning issue management activities (escalation procedures) as well as identifying actions to improve services
Consulting with the businesses regarding changes to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs), processes and procedures
Reviewing the service contract and costs with the businesses and providing future service and costs
Developing and maintaining internal and external relationships regarding specific business issues
Analysing performance reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, interpret data to identify trends and implement operational improvement initiatives
Requirements
College or University degree
At least 2 years experience of working in a customer focused business to business environment
A background in leadership, customer service and information management
Proven consulting and relationship building skills and experience.
Sound exposure to information systems and principles.
Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
Proactive people & performance management skills
Strong time management and organisation skills
